Reply:2007 isn't over yet so we don't know for sure. I can tell you one thing though there most be like a million Jennifers/Jennys out there!
Reply:Not sure but it seems like there are more and more unique names. I call them weird.
Some parents name their kids things that are so "unique" that I feel sorry for the kids. The name is difficult to pronounce or spell. The parents may love it but shouldn't they think about the affect that that name will have on the child all through their life?
I knew a girl in High School - Kitty Kjar. How could her parents do that to her?
Maybe I'm just more sensitive to this because of person experience. My name is "Robbin." Yup, 2 B's. I have been called Rob-b-bin, Ribbon and other things. No one spells it right and I have always hated it.
Reply:You can't do 2007 yet because were still in 2007, and babys are being born every day. Will just have to wait to 2008!
Reply:I've heard of so many people naming their daughter Delilah.
I hate the song, and I hate that the name is such a trend because of it..
Reply:its not over yet so the counts are not in
Reply:they wont do the poll til the end of the year

Reply:Madison
Reply:Alexis
Usually when a celebrity has a child and the names become public you usually see a rise in that name. Take for example Tiger Woods. He named his daughter Sam Alexis.
So you will see a lot more Alexis this year.
Reply:Psychology Today published a study that surveyed over 500 Human Resource managers and over 150 college admissions counselors at competitive admission universities. The results showed that a person’s first name was a large factor in determining whether or not a person made it past the initial screening process for hiring or admission. People with odd or unusual names were more likely to be rejected while people with certain names – which Psychology Today termed “power names” – were more likely to pass the initial screening.
